Advent Day 16: You Will Always Respond to Me
Reflect: We spend a lot of time building up a false identity for ourselves. We often make ourselves our popularity, our power, our prestige, what we do, how healthy or wealthy or attractive we are. The Spirit comes to us with that first love, “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jer 31:3), and speaks to us the truth that we long to hear,
“You are my beloved son in whom I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17). Being Beloved is the truth of our identity — not what we have, what we have done or what we’ve failed to do.Share: Think of someone whom you struggle with or who has hurt you in your life– someone you can fail to see as being loved by God. Imagine praying over that person and allow the Spirit to work in you so you can see the love with which God has for that person. Share with others how you know them to be loved by God.

Pray: Pray the Litany of Trust in the morning and at night. Download it here.

God bless,
