GOD AND DARKNESS
St. Teresa of Calcutta faced spiritual darkness for 40 years and did not shy from telling others of her struggle:
“I am told God lives in me – and yet the reality of darkness and coldness and emptiness is so great that nothing touches my soul. I want God with all the power of my soul – and yet between us there is terrible separation.”
In spite of her spiritual struggle, St. Teresa did God’s work anyway.
St. Teresa did God’s work because she loved God more than she loved good feelings.
And we must love God like that, too.
Do God’s work, anyway.
Friends, be confident in Christ’s mercy and love.

LEARNING FROM THE SAINTS
“I do not pray for success, I ask for faithfulness.” (St. Teresa of Calcutta)

PRAY WITH ME

My God, help me to seek you in all I do. Amen.
